Twelve Nights (Rauhnächte)

Join us for a moment of pause, to celebrate and honour the year that has passed while opening with intention to the year ahead. The Twelve Nights, or Rauhnächte in German tradition, are an ancient European custom rooted in Indigenous and earth-based cultures. It is said that during these nights, the veil between the visible and invisible worlds grows thin, inviting reflection, cleansing, and renewal.

The period from December 21–24 is dedicated to preparation and stillness, while December 25–January 6 marks a sacred passage and a bridge between endings and beginnings.

How we journey together

Opening and Closing Circles (Online)

We begin and end this shared time as a community:

  • Opening Circle: December 20, 2025 — 9:00 AM PST / 6:00 PM CET

  • Closing Circle: January 7, 2026 — 9:00 AM PST / 6:00 PM CET

These gatherings help us arrive with intention, connect with one another, and close the cycle in gratitude.

During the Twelve Nights

Between December 21 and January 7, participants receive daily inspirations, themes, and reflection prompts through a dedicated Signal group. This space offers light-touch connection and a shared field for insight, reflection, and emerging questions.

You are invited to engage in your own way: through journaling, painting, silence, writing, drawing, or other creative and contemplative practices that deepen your experience.

This offering welcomes people from all parts of the world — anyone who feels called to honour this transitional time in community.

Suggested donation: USD $60 — or pay what you can. Your contribution helps cover the costs of facilitation and community coordination.
