What is Collective Transitions?

In these times of turbulence and uncertainty, Collective Transitions offers both a guiding light and a peaceful harbour.

In order to (re)weave an equitable world where life can flourish, we must both honor and heal the past while co-creating new patterns for the future. Our work supports  groups and facilitators in navigating these shifts, both as individuals and as collectives.

Rooted in a living systems perspective, we bring awareness to the underlying currents shaping people’s thoughts, behaviours, and experiences. When all stakeholders begin to  experience themselves as part of a greater whole, they can act more swiftly, with increased clarity, alignment, and care - opening the way for truly transformative change.

Our Core Values

These values are the fertile soil nourishing our work - wherever we are, whatever the scale.

Belonging and rooting in community

Transformation happens in relationship. We root our work in the wisdom of the circle, an ancient practice and inherant wisdom that provides stability, safety, and containment. In our community, team or group we can weather challenges together through presence and move forwards with greater inner coherence.

Courage and curiosity

Bold actions are needed for collective transformation. It takes courage to release what no longer serves and curiosity to sense new possibilities. We honour the power of these often unacknowledged liminal spaces, where endings and beginnings overlap, and where transformation takes shape.

Commitment and care

Lasting change requires patience, presence, and attentiveness. Our work is about staying with one another even in the fire of discomfort, and offering practice spaces for attuned listening, allowing whatever wants to happen, each step of the way.

Ancestral and wisdom lineages

Our work is possible only because of the earth-based, Indigenous and ancestral wisdom traditions that have been practised and nurtured over millennia, in cultures across the globe. Our work is offered in service to both the past and future, honouring what has been handed down and carrying it forward into what will come after.

Ecosystems of Practice

Our work grows out of a rich ecosystem of interrelated schools of thought and practice.

These traditions and approaches guide and inspire us, weaving together ways of knowing that support deep transformation:

  • Sacred, subtle, earth-based wisdom traditions

  • Awareness-based & reflective practices

  • Shared and participatory leadership

  • Trauma, shadow and grief work

  • Seeing & sensing from multiple perspectives

  • “Reading” social fields and collective dynamics
