Online Foundation Training

A set of practices for navigating complexity with greater clarity, presence, and coherence. Together, we’ll learn to activate and deepen our sensing capacities, leading to wiser and more aligned actions for transformative change.

Training description

This Foundation Training weaves together theoretical input, experiential practice, reflection, and collective inquiry. Through small-group and whole-group exercises, practical application, outdoor time entering in relationship with the ‘more-than-human’, and space for integration, participants are introduced to essential approaches for working with complexity, societal transformation, and collective change, all towards greater coherence.

Throughout the course, we explore how expanding our perception and deepening our awareness can support wiser, more grounded, and more coherent action in times of uncertainty - locally, regionally or internationally.

Participants will gain practical insight into a range of methods, practices, and applications for working with individual, organisational, and societal dynamics. Themes explored throughout the training include:

  • An introduction to foundational aspects of systems transformation

  • An introduction to the origins and practice of Systems Sensing and Systemic Constellations

    • The role and power of representation

    • The importance of intention and guiding questions

    • The different phases of a practice or process: before, during, and after

    • Understanding the possibilities and limitations of this practice

    • The difference between Systems Sensing and Systemic Constellations

    • Intergenerational and historical dimensions of systems and societal change

  • The interconnected and interrelated dynamics between the individual and collective layers of societal change

  • The importance, wisdom, and influence of land and place in relation to diverse societal issues and challenges

  • Personal practice, self-care, and inner alignment as the essential foundations for transformative work

  • Essential spheres and capacities for navigating societal transition consciously and collectively

This training supports participants in strengthening their capacity to perceive, sense, and respond to complex situations in more nuanced and embodied ways. Alongside foundational concepts and frameworks, the course places strong emphasis on hands-on experience and practical application within organisational, relational, and societal contexts.

The training is open to anyone interested in socio-ecological transformation and collective change. No prior experience is required.
