What is of the essence now? 🕊️

Dear Ones,

The waves feel high. The tides, intense. So much is moving and quickly often beyond what we can fully take in. In times like these, a quiet question begins to surface: what is of the essence now? This isn’t an abstract reflection, its a living inquiry.

What truly asks for our attention? What do we choose to stay with; to nourish; to uphold, even as the world around us feels spun in gyres?

When we ask this we are invited to return to what is essential. To clear and release. To connect and listen more deeply. To breathe and orient towards what truly moves our core. This is a way of staying with a world from which we might wish we could retreat. Of cultivating still points within its intensity where we can rest and widen our gaze.

To tend to what is of the essence is an act of care for both ourselves, and for the wider relational field we are part of. As we seed, nurture, and protect what matters most, we contribute to something larger: the quiet restoration of connection, coherence, and life.

Perhaps this is what these times are asking of us: to return to the essence again and again, and to tend to this fire together.

What does that really mean?

Lean into, yes, fiercely uphold what really moves your core.

The beauty around you; never to be underestimated.
The beauty in you; always calling to be celebrated.

As times seem wild, essential are the still points.

The places to rest and calibrate,

The moments to widen your gaze and expand beyond what you may have taken for granted,

The suspense - the silence - between the tones.

Here is to intentional practice,

Here is to focus and being awake,

Here is to crafting and shaping your sanctuaries,

Here is to cultivating your garden, seeding, nurturing, growing what's essential.

No selfish act, but an essential gift to the biodiversity that is calling to be restored, regenerated and brought back to wholeness - within, among, across.

Foundation Training

Our June Foundation Training with in partnership with Oasis Human Relations is now fully booked. We’re grateful for the strong response, and warmly invite anyone still thinking about it to join one of our remaining two Foundation Training dates this year.

Our Foundation Training is for those navigating uncertainty, multiple perspectives, and complex systemic challenges. It is a space for those who sense that how we show up and respond matters as much as what we do.

As many of the systems we are part of, including: social, organisational, ecological, come under increasing strain, familiar ways of leading and collaborating are no longer enough. Our Foundation Training invites a deepening of perception, of presence, and of our capacity to meet complexity with care and coherence.

Advanced Training I

September 2026 - 2027

Four training modules, hosted in-person, in Switzerland

And for those of you who’ve already completed our Foundation Training, our new, Advanced Training I is beginning its first cycle this year for those who feel called to deepen their capacity to navigate complexity with greater clarity, as well as build and maintain coherence.

This course is designed for leaders, facilitators, activists, creatives, and practitioners working at the edges of socio-ecological transformation. Across four immersive modules we’ll deepen and integrate the practices of systems sensing, systemic constellations, regenerative and embodied systems change, and working with land and place.

The Advanced Training I is a space to refine perception, strengthen presence, and bring greater precision and confidence into your work. More than just a training in leading, facilitating, hosting or deepening collaboration, this is also an invitation to be part of a growing learning community.

We warmly welcome those who feel a quiet (or clear) yes to stepping further into this work.

Was tun wir mit dem rosaroten Elefanten im Raum?

Wir freuen uns sehr, als Collective Transitions beim RegioImpuls in Basel des Berufsverband für Supervision und Organisationsentwicklung (bso) eingeladen zu sein.

In unserem 2-stündigen Workshop geht Luea Ritter der Frage nach, wie wir Übergänge in Organisationen achtsam und gemeinsam gestalten können – besonders dann, wenn neben den offen benannten Herausforderungen auch kollektive, historische oder ortsbezogene Dynamiken im Raum wirken.

Wie treten wir in echten Kontakt mit einem System?
Wie hören wir ganzheitlich zu – mit all unseren Wahrnehmungskanälen?
Und wie öffnen wir einen Raum, in dem Vertrauen entsteht, sodass sich auch der „rosarote Elefant“ zeigen darf?

Anhand eines konkreten Beratungsprozesses – von der Auftragsklärung über die Raumöffnung bis zum bewussten Abschluss – gibt Luea Einblicke in ihre Praxis und teilt zentrale Lessons Learned aus ihrer internationalen Erfahrung.

On the Importance of Grieving

In our times of fracturing and deep uncertainty there is so much to hold, and so much that can remain unspoken, unprocessed, or pushed aside.

Grief is often left untended and yet, without space to acknowledge and move with what we have lost, are loosing, what is hurting, and what is no longer as it was, something in us, and between us, can become numb, fragmented or stuck.

Back in 2020, Luea and Nancy wrote about grief as a vital and necessary process rather than something to fix or move beyond. Grief is way of staying in relationship with life. A way of metabolising what we are witnessing and experiencing so that it does not harden or isolate us, but instead deepens our capacity to feel, to care, and to remain connected.

And so now, we share this piece with you again as a reminder of how tending to grief becomes part of how we sustain ourselves, and each other. It allows us to soften where we might otherwise close, and to stay present to what matters.
